Drive to Kashan, Sightseeing Kashan & Abyaneh Village Attractions
Our tour starts every week on Wednesday between 11:00- 13:00 we depart from Tehran towards Kashan, a historic city located in the heart of Iran. Kashan is situated approximately 200 km south of Tehran, making it a drive of about two and a half hours.
During our journey, we’ll make a short stop at the Mehr-o Mah rest area. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to rest and enjoy tea or coffee and taste one of Iran’s most delicious sweets, Sohan, known for its rich blend of saffron, rose water, and pistachios.
Kashan flourished as a significant hub for the production of high-quality pottery, tiles, and silk carpets. Upon our arrival in Kashan, we’ll explore various historical sites such as the Fin Garden (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Tabatabaeha & Brodjerdiha Historical Houses, and the Sultan Amirahmad Bathroom.
As evening approaches, we’ll journey towards the ancient village of Abianeh, where we’ll spend the night amidst its picturesque surroundings.

Drive to Isfahan, Visit Natanz on the way, Isfahan Sightseeing
Today, our journey takes us to Isfahan, but before we depart from Abyaneh, we’ll take some time to explore this charming village where tradition is still alive and untouched by modernity. Here, locals will enchant you with their traditional attire amidst the picturesque atmosphere of the village. En route to Isfahan, we’ll make a brief stop at Natanz to take a look at Jame Mosque.
Isfahan, once the capital of Iran, experienced its golden age from 1050 to 1722, particularly flourishing during the 16th and 17th centuries under the Safavid dynasty. The city’s splendor is so renowned that it’s captured in the Persian proverb “Esfahan Nesf-e-Jahān ast” (Isfahan is half of the world).
Upon arrival in Isfahan, our first stop is the New Jolfa neighborhood, known for its vibrant Armenian community. Here, you’ll explore galleries and charming cafes, and we can eat at the famous 120-year-old restaurant, Haj Mahmoud Shafaat, renowned for its traditional Isfahan cuisine Beryoni. You’ll also learn about the rich history of Armenians in Iran and visit their historic church.
After check-in and a brief rest at the hotel, we’ll continue our exploration. We’ll stroll around Naqshe Jahan Square and the old traditional Bazaar, immersing ourselves in the city’s bustling atmosphere. For a breathtaking panoramic view of Isfahan and its stunning sunset, we’ll head north to the Qeysarieh Gate and museum, where merchants once met with the king of Iran 450 years ago.
Before dinner, we’ll visit the Music Museum, treating you to a mesmerizing live performance of traditional Iranian music and providing insights into the rich history of Iranian musical traditions. After dinner, we’ll take a leisurely walk to the Si-o-Se Pol bridge, where you can soak in the enchanting nighttime ambiance before concluding our day.

Today offers a splendid day of sightseeing as we explore Isfahan’s main attractions, including the magnificent Jameh Mosque and Naghsh-e-Jahan Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Shah Mosque, Sheikh Lotfallah Mosque, and the former palaces of the Safavid Shahs, such as the Ali Qapoo Palace and Chehel Sotun Palace. We’ll also revisit and indulge in shopping at the Isfahan Old Bazaar, renowned for its wealth of artistic treasures.
Before departing for Tehran, we’ll spend some time at the Khajo Bridge, praised by Professor Arthur Pope as the “bride of the world’s bridges” for its captivating beauty and wonder. Depending on your departure flight time, we’ll head to the airport or your hotel in Tehran.
Our tour concludes between 8 and 10 pm. (Breakfast included).
