TOUR FULL ITINARY

Day 1: Arrive Tehran (I.K Airport), sightseeing, Transport to Dizin

Arriving Tehran I.K. Airport, welcoming and regarding the group, transport to the hotel in Tehran. After a short rest, we’ll go to Tehran sightseeing tour. Tehran Grand Bazar, Golestan palace (UNESCO world Heritage. Afternoon we’ll transport the group to Dizin village in 125 km Northwest of Tehran. Depends on traffic, we’ll arrive Dizin between two hours to three hours. O/ N at local house or mountain hotel. (Full board, B.L.D)

Day 2: Skiing on Alborz mountains, Dizin area

Today morning after breakfast, you’ll start Touring or ascent to the top of the Piste via Cable-Cabins and gandola, and enjoy on-off piste skiing (depend on your choice). Our guide leading you to the Siah Summit (~ 3500 m), Sichal Summit (~ 3720 m) or Gavazni summit (~3300 m) and you can enjoy off-piste skiing or ski-touring in Alborz mountain. O/ N at local house or mountain hotel. (Full board, B.L.D)

Day 3: Full day skiing (Touring, on or off piste)

Today our guide leading you to the Sandoghchal summit (~ 3560 m), in the west of Dizin ski resort. You’ll ascend via lifts and gondolas or ski-touring, and skiing off-piste from the southern side of Dizin Ski resort to Darbandsar Ski resort and enjoying good slop and perfect snow. After few rest you can ascend via Darbandsar lifts to Gardaneh (~2900 m), and skiing on piste to Dizin, or transport to Dizin with 4WD car. Or ascend to the Gavazni summit (~3300 m) via lift & gondola. From this summit, you’ll skiing off-piste to Gajareh village. O/ N at local house or mountain hotel. (Full board, B.L.D)

Day 4: Full day skiing (Touring, on or off piste)

Today after breakfast, we’ll start skiing in Dizin area. Depends on snow condition, weather and your fitness, your guide will choose a good summit our route for you. So you can enjoy skiing in good and long sloops. Tonight you should collect your ski stuff and ready to going to Iran central Desert. O/ N at local house or mountain hotel. (Full board, B.L.D)

Day 5: Transport to Kashan historical city

Today morning we’ll start driving to Kashan historical city in center of Iran, it’s about 200 km far away from Tehran in the south (5 hours driving from Dizin). Kashan city is the capital of Kashan County, in the province of Isfahan, Iran. The etymology of the city name comes from the Kasian, the original inhabitants of the city, whose remains are found at good preserved archeological Tapeh Sialk dating back 9,000 years; later this was changed to “Kashian”, hence the town name. Between the 12th and the 14th centuries Kashan was an important centre for the production of high quality pottery and tiles. In modern Persian, the word for a tile (kashi) comes from the name of the town Kashan. In Kashan you can visit some historical sites like Brodjerdian house, Fin garden (paradise garden), Soltan Amirahmad Bathroom, and etc. Afternoon we’ll drive to Maranjab Desert via gravel road (45 km). O /N in Maranjab 2 person tent in desert camp. (Full board, B.L.D)

Day 6: Desert exploring and dunes hiking

Visiting a place which takes ones glance to eternity, becoming deeply impressed by the scenery of moving sands and burning salt marshes, seeing the ruins of ancient monuments examining rare plants, seeing strange animals are among motivations that prompt the lovers of natural geography to embark on a trip to the Maranjab deserts. O /N in Maranjab 2 person tent in desert camp. (Full board, B.L.D)

Day 7: Salt Lake & Transport to Airport/ Tehran

Early in the morning before the sunrise you will leave the Desert camp to go to the nearby Sand hills and watch the dawn of the sun from the top of the dunes. After taking unique pictures we’ll came back to our camp for breakfast. Then you can hike around desert, Salt Lake, camel ride (if you can meet cameleer), and enjoy silence of desert. Afternoon we’ll transport group to the, Airport where we say goodbye to you and you’ll fly back your home, or Tehran (if you want to spend more days in Iran).

Note: There is possibility to renting ski equipment in Iran.

Duffel bag 70-100 L (Carrying by cars or leave in Hotel/Guesthouse), Daypack 30-40 L to carry camera, water bottles, extra clothing, Lunch box , Luggage tags and locks

For this Tour you don’t need to bring sleeping bag or mattress. Iran Exploration will provide everything for you.

Ski-touring Goretex jacket with hood (waterproof and breathable), Ski-touring Goretex/wind stopper pants (side zippers are convenient), Fleece pant, Merino Base Layer top, Fleece or Synthetic Mid Layer, Warm Down Jacket,  Insulated vest (down or synthetic filled),  fleece or wool sweater, Fleece pants, Mid-weight thermal underwear tops and bottom(synthetic or wool), Long-sleeve shirts, T-shirts (synthetic are best) Underwear

 

  • Clothing Accessories:

Sun hat, Wool or fleece hat (over ears),Mid weight Gloves, Thin liner gloves, Neck Gaiter or Buff, Balaclava, Gaiters

 

  • Footwear:

Trekking boots(ankle support) , types of Socks, Camp shoes( trail shoes or running shoes)

 

  • City Clothing:

Bring a few lightweight, easily washable items for travel and daily wear, Comfortable shoes
